  • How the ACE-Model Works

    A 2-stage academic teaching approach that seamlessly links practice to theory in the Automatic Control Engineering (ACE) industry.

    1. ACE-BOX (The Toolkit) and ACE-CORE (The Methodology)

    • ACE-BOX is a self-contained hardware tool that enables users to implement and test the CORE methodology, anytime, anywhere, eliminating the need for costly laboratory facilities.
    • ACE-CORE is a four-step learning framework designed to ensure learners grasp the foundational concepts of Automatic Control Engineering (ACE), progressing from hands-on practice to theoretical mastery, through the stages: Comprehend → Operate → Refine → Engineer

    2. ACE-Apply (Applied Engineering)

    • Use ACE-Apply to learn how to solve applied engineering problems by leveraging transferable skills developed by gaining hands-on experience with the ACE-BOX platform, along with using the ACE-CORE methodology (Comprehend, Operate, Refiine, Engineer). The prior transferrable skills for each applied engineering problem will be documented.
  • The ACE-Model is continuously refined and updated by the ACE-Lab Team.
