    ACE-Lab Mission

Practical tools, open resources, and a global community for teaching control engineering through real-world experimentation.

    Transforming Automatic Control Engineering Education

ACE-Lab aims to transform Automatic Control Engineering (ACE) education by connecting control theory with real-world engineering practice through hands-on experimentation, industry-aligned curricula, and project-based learning.

Our Vision ACE-Lab provides an accessible, open-source, and globally collaborative platform that enables practical control engineering education across classrooms, laboratories, homes, and international learning communities.
    ⚙️

M-1: Practical Learning: From Theory to Practice

ACE-Lab bridges control theory and practice through hands-on activities from the start of study.

    🏭

    M-2: Industry-Aligned Education

ACE-Lab connects academic learning with the skills expected in modern engineering practice. Students develop practical competence in modelling, implementation, testing, debugging, and system-level problem solving through industry-relevant control applications.

    🚀

    M-3: Accessible Learning for All

Learning should not be limited by laboratory access. ACE-Lab aims to provide portable, scalable, and affordable resources, enabling students to perform and repeat experiments anytime and anywhere.

    ⚙️

    M-4: Sustainable Educational Deployment

ACE-Lab aims to deliver practical control education through a sustainable, reusable, and low-maintenance platform that minimizes educator workload and long-term support requirements, enabling scalable, high-quality learning with minimal recurring effort.

    🌐

    M-5: Open-Source Global Network

ACE-Lab aims to bring together educators, researchers, students, and industry professionals to share open-source resources, teaching practices, research outputs, and innovation through a global collaborative network.
